Located in downtown OKC, this 3 story, 4 building condo complex was severely damaged by large, wind driven hail. Tear off and replace standing seam metal roofing, gutters, & downspouts. Also replaced 2 flat roofs. See our Downtown OKC Condos Case Study for more details.
Concrete block coating was deteriorated, allowing water to penetrate through the walls creating leaks in multiple units. Coatings were scraped and pressure washed, prepped with Benjamin Moore Concrete Sealer, smoothed out and filled with Benjamin Moore High Block Filler, and finally coated with 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Elastomeric Low Lustre Coating.
The framing around the 3rd story loft window were completely dry rotted, allowing water to run into the condominiums destroying their walls and ceilings. The location was over 7:12 pitched metal roofs making them extremely difficult to get to for normal maintenance. The framing around 16 windows was torn out and replaced, then covered with housewrap and finally finished with James Hardie fiber cement siding and painted.
This entire condo complex in Oklahoma City was originally sided with wood. After years of being exposed to the elements, had seen better days. The specialists at Ridgid Construction delivered a detailed estimate to have it replaced and was given the go-ahead. We re-sided it using James Hardie board, fiber cement siding and then painted the exterior to complete the job.
This Del City hail and wind damaged roof got a complete makeover after our inspector determined the roof needed replacing. The owners chose to replace dated green shingles with GAF Sovereign golden cedar. The substrate was repaired to create a more nailable surface for shingle warranty purposes. Next, vents, flashing, and a drip edge were all replaced as well. Now the roof is in tip-top shape and will protect the house for years to come!
