After the late May storms we noticed what we considered damage to our roof. We filed a claim with our insurance provider who sent an adjuster to evaluate the damage and the insurance company approved our claim. We began our search for a company to replace our roof. Ridgid Construction was the fourth company we called and the third to our home. Robert showed up on time, reviewed the damage and took the extra time to explain how the process would work. He also took note of damage not listed on our insurance documents. Because of his thoroughness and patience with our questions/ignorance we decided to use Ridgid. About three weeks later all of the materials were in and they replaced the shingles and over 40 of the decking boards. The team was efficient and cleaned up after themselves . The following week we had 4 inches of rain in 2 hours. We thought we noticed a leak. We called Robert the next day and he had the crew out within hours to check it out. We are very pleased with their responsiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction. Robert submitted the supplemental claim and it was finally approved by our insurance provider. As of today, he is doing the legwork to find matching materials and provide the insurance company additional information they need.  

It went great. They treated us very well. They were there when our adjuster came out and negotiated on our behalf for the house. This is a great situation because their interests line up with yours after a storm. I highly recommend them.

Everything went smoothly.  I have a daycare so Brian, my rep, had it worked out for them to work on the weekends so they wouldn't disturb my daycare kids and visited with me during nap times or after hours.  They were really good about letting me know exactly when they would show up and what to expect.  My favorite part was that I didn't have to contact my mortgage company.  They took care of all the paperwork.  They also came back and looked at any work I felt needed their attention and took care of it.  I would recommend them to my friends and family. 

The construction went great. There was just a little pause in finishing because of bad weather and Christmas break, but that was not a concern to us at all. The quality of the work was excellent. Recently, a different builder was here to replace some windows, and he commented on how well the new roof had been built. Bob was very professional and reliable.

If you ever need a roofing and/orconstruction company you can save yourself a lot of time and frustration by calling Ridgid Construction, FIRST!!!   Prior to our making contact with Ridgid, we had attempted to work with 3 different companies. None of the other companies were very professional, they all failed to keep lines of communication open and they could not (or would not) work with our insurance company.  When we found Ridgid Construction we were pleasantly surprised how quickly our experience changed for the better, and it continues to be a positive one. Robert B, our project manager and Sue, the unsung hero in their office, managed to work with our insurance company and get many repairs covered that were missed by the insurance adjuster. We are pleased to say, that after the tireless efforts of Robert and Sue, our repairs are scheduled to begin Monday. If all the work they have put in to date is any indication, we feel very confident that the repairs will be top quality!  This is a locally owned company who, without a doubt, cares about their customers. If you want work completed by a professional and caring group of people, then Ridgid is the company for you!    

I was extraordinarily pleased with this company. The estimator was personable, knowledgeable and kept his word on all schedules. His crew were some of the hardest workers I've ever seen and their work was absolutely amazing. My roof, gutters, downspouts and window framing make the house look amazing from the outside. The estimator worked with my insurance company and provided photographic proof of everything that required doing to the house. He was competent and thorough with all he provided to the insurance company. I would recommend these folks to anyone if they want quality service.

This letter is to inform you of my complete satisfaction with the handling of all phases of my recent re-roofing job by Mr. Bryan Guntharp. He was always friendly and helpful. Answering all my questions, no matter how inane.  I am very please with the appearance of my new roof. My neighbors have congratulated me on the roofing job. Our house is one of the original historic log homes in the area and was built in the 1790's. As such, we are very concerned about any company making repairs to the structure. Our feeling is the contractor must not only be skilled (in this case replacing a roof), but also very knowledgeable and sensitive to the original character of the home. Ridgid Construction did exactly that having staffed the site with construction crews and supervisors having the desire and pride to take the extra step concerning details. One example that stood out was the way they attached and sealed the metal flashing to the existing logs and three chimneys in a method that blended right in. As there are differences in historic verses new construction; we have been very pleased with Ridgid's capabilities and would highly recommend them to those folks with homes that have aged gracefully and still want to keep them around for future generations. In the spring my neighborhood was hit by a tornado. I received hail and wind damage to our roof and gutters and downspouts. I called my insurance company. To be honest I wasn't real impressed with the insurance adjuster that was sent out to check on the damage. I called Ridgid Construction for their opinion of the damage. Isreal Diaz came out and looked at my house showing my husband and myself all of the damage that we received. I was impressed by his knowledge . I had damage that until he came out I didn't realize just how bad it was. One of our gutters was sheared off by wind and was just hanging loose and I didn't evern realize it. I guess if you don't know what your looking for you will miss the obvious. Isreal came back out when my insurance adjuster was here the second time and pointed out things to him also. At that point I was told I would receive reimbursement for a new roof gutters and downspouts. Ridgid came to complete the project at my request at the end of summer. I was completely satisfied with their work. They returned the next day and put a new roof on my shed as well. I have to say my experience with Ridgid Construction from beginning to end went very smooth. The end result far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Ridgid Construction to anyone in the future. As a matter of fact I have had friends and family ask me to be sure to keep their card because they may need work done in the future and they would like to use them. I wouldn't have any hesitation in referring them to anyone. My over all experience with Ridgid Construction has been excellent. Over the last 16 years I have had many contractors do work on my home. I have to say Ridgid was one of the best.

Torey was our project manager and I couldn't have asked for a better guy to work with.  He was sympathetic to our needs and environment.  Ridgid handled all the dirty work with the insurance company and even worked hard to get a supplement to cover more damage that was missed during the first insurance inspection.  Their work crews accommodated our schedule very well and were very clean and orderly.  If and when I ever need anything done on the house again, I'm using Ridgid.  They've earned a life long customer! 

Immediately after the tornado, one of their project managers came by and put temporary patches on my roof so I didn't have any leaks. I was concerned about the safety of my house. Before the insurance company had cut any checks, they rebuilt my back fence so I could have some security. In addition, they replaced my gutter that was damaged by hail, and replaced my garage door. They replaced my roof. State Farm did not want to cover the full replacement roof, and Justin personally came out to battle on my behalf with the adjuster. They also did some painting of the fence and trim on my house. They worked really well with me and the insurance company. They were very understanding and professional. They gave me a signed mechanic's lien with the final payment. 

I had a very good experience with this company. They were responsible and professional about everything. Their rep kept me notified about schedules and details. I believe that he negotiated an excellent adjustment with my insurance company after their first payment, which was short of the amount needed to cover everything. He met with their adjusters and made a good case for a better figure. In the end, my out-of-pocket expenses were pretty moderate, about 10% of the whole job. This was far better than my experience with another company some years ago, when I had to pay 50% of the replacement cost. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone I know.

Randy O. was exceptional as the primary contractor. He deserves a Super Service Award himself! He even showed up when a tornado was forecasted when we had questions and needed help! He really made the whole ordeal palatable and went the extra mile to ensure everything was completed to our complete satisfaction. Can't say enough good about him and his integrity. He was truly the best. We were treated fairly and respectfully, and there were no hidden costs associated with the whole project. We were kept updated throughout the project, and the quality of the work met our high expectations. We were inundated with contractors wanting our business after the storm, and we were so blessed to find Ridgid on Angie's List! It made a challenging and unpleasant experience so much better to know that we were being treated honestly (unlike, we might add, some of our neighbors who chose a different companies). Thank you, Randy, and thank you Ridgid. We would not only use Ridgid again, we would recommend them to others. In fact, we already have.
